BTE Technologies Education - Equipment Training Courses

As part of our ongoing mission to train our customers, BTE Technologies offers training classes for the EvalTech / ER, Primus, Simulator II, and MCU. These classes are held at our Denver, CO and Baltimore, MD offices.

Thank you for your interest in BTE's Education Courses.  To reserve a seat you must complete and submit an online registration form.  Due to interest in the classes, please submit your registration form as soon as possible. Class size is limited.  If you cancel your registration, please contact the Registrar as soon as possible so that those on a wait list can be contacted.

Please use the calendar below to select the training course you would like to attend.

PrimusRS/Primus Users:

Primus courses in Baltimore address the current PrimusRS/Primus30 systems, as well as the older Primus 20 and Primus 10 systems. Denver courses are for PrimusRS/Primus30 only, but use the same curriculum. Only the equipment available for hands-on lab differs.

In addition to the different systems discussed above, there are now two different software programs on the PrimusRS. The new software, currently called Primus.NET, was released in July 2010. Because of the difference between the two programs, it is necessary to have two different classes.

It is critical that you determine which Primus software version your system is running, so that you can register for the correct class. Please refer to the following two screenshots to determine which software version you are running. On your Primus system, select "Help" on the Primus software Menu Bar, and select "About." You will see one of these two following screens.

Once you have identified your software version, please proceed to choose the correct class from the calendar.

EvalTech/ER Users:

An 8 hour Level 1 course is offered at the time of installation of the system. The Level 1 Competency Test must be taken following that training and a ≥ 85% grade must be achieved in order to attend the Level 2 course in Baltimore, MD. A Level 1 Competency Test must be submitted and passed as a prerequisite for Level 2 Course registration.

The focus of the Level 2 course is on clinical applications, therefore, it is offered to licensed/registered/certified clinicians only. As this course is very Lab intensive, class size is limited.

If you have not done so already, please Access the EvalTech Study Modules and Take the Level 1 Competency Test at this time. The password for accessing the Study Modules and the Level 1 Competency Test was included with your system installation information, but call us at 410.850.0333 x109 if you have misplaced it.

Level 1 Competency Tests must be received by BTE no later than 4 weeks prior to a Level 2 Course date. Please allow additional time to retake the test should that be necessary. Once the BTE Course Registrar contacts you informing you of your passing score, you can proceed to Level 2 Course registration.
